Deep Dive into the Features of the Beem Projector
The Beem 410 projector runs on Android 9.0 OS and features 3600 lumens technology, allowing you to project up to a 200-inch screen. With Android built-in, this android smart projector offers essential features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 6W speakers.
After using this beam projector for seven days, it delivers decent performance and projection screen clarity. If you’re considering purchasing the Portronics Beem 410 Smart LED Projector, keep the following points in mind:
- For Occasional Use: If you’re in a room with one or two people and plan to watch movies occasionally on weekends, this Portronics mini projector is suitable for you. However, if you intend to use it daily, I recommend considering a higher-end model.
- Display Quality: The display clarity is decent, but not exceptional. While this beam projector supports 1080p resolution, the visual quality may not meet the highest standards. It’s ideal for those who will use it occasionally, but if you’re a regular user who wants top-notch display quality, you might want to explore other options.
- Sound Quality: The built-in speakers are not very powerful. I recommend purchasing an external Bluetooth speaker for better sound quality. The quality of the inbuilt speakers feels somewhat like listening through cheap headsets.
- Connectivity: The Portronics portable projector supports Wi-Fi, allowing easy connection to 2.4G or 5G networks. With Bluetooth, you can easily connect to speakers or headsets. It comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM, offering decent performance. The Beem projector has one HDMI port, one USB port, and one AUX port, making it easy to connect to a laptop via HDMI or use a USB drive. It also supports screen mirroring for both iOS and Android users, which works well without noticeable issues, though I did encounter some connectivity problems when connecting my external speaker via Bluetooth.
Final Thoughts
Overall, the Portronics Beem 410 Android Smart Projector offers good value and functionality, but it’s best suited for dark rooms. Be prepared for some compromises in audio quality and Bluetooth connectivity.
